This monotype, Subway, is part of a short narrative of prints about the process oftransition from girlhood to womanhood. It was completed in winter 2003 for Tanis S'eiltin's Printmaking Narratives class.

Anneka Deacon: "I was born near Bellingham and raised in Massachusetts. I have returned to my roots at Fairhaven after a five-year hiatus from college. I am studying holistic healing through nutrition, sustainable living, and art therapy with a focus on women's health and issues at Fairhaven and WWU."
