Heidi Biggs says, “I’m a sophomore (almost junior) at Western Washington University. My plans for the future had better involve some kind of art, but I haven’t settled on a major yet. I did this project for a memoir writing class. It is styled after the work of Lynda Barry. Creating the piece taught me how a combination of writing and drawing allows me to express myself far more potently than either does alone.”
