Phil McAndrew

Phil McAndrew grew up in Syracuse, NY.  When he was in high school he made a bunch of short films with his friends and dabbled in stop motion animation. A student at Daemen College, he can currently be found inside a couch fort in a small apartment on a college campus just outside of Buffalo. His comics have been published in a couple of anthology books such as You Ain't No Dancer and Almost Normal Comics & Other Oddities. His comics have also been published by Serializer, Found Hat Press, Terminal City, and a handful of college papers and alternative news weeklies. Phil has done illustration work for The Syracuse Post Standard, Moo Cow Fan Club and a bunch of rock bands. In August of 2004 he co-founded Found Hat Press with a group of friends. It has since grown into a largely acclaimed collective of young cartoonists. Phil enjoys snowboarding, drinking root beer, and watching Indiana Jones movies.
