Artist Statement

Tyler Lundgren is a student at Fairhaven College. He says, "My interests are closely connected with my love of nature. Whether climbing trees. Snowboarding, hunting, fishing, mountain biking, or rock climbing, there is a simultaneous connection with nature and art. The feeling experienced while in the woods is similar to the feeling experienced while painting or drawing. There is endless knowledge to be gained and many ways to acquire and express that knowledge. My love of nature has been a major source of inspiration and is reflected through my paintings, drawings, representational, and experimental drawings. Extreme focus, energy, and risk is required, along with the courage to be vulnerable."
