Lyrics
Verse 1: I don’t know you, but you claim to know me.
Don’t know what to do, I’ll just play along
PreChorus1: Something’s happening downstairs, they’re playing musical chairs
But it’s a drinking game.
Chorus: Here in my home, you will see things you’ve never seen before,
Like Conquistadors, in mini-skirts.
Verse2: What’s there to do? Lets walk on the ceiling,
There’s quite a view, what a nice idea.
PreChorus2: You can hover if you like, I’ll ride my interstellar bike!
200 gears and all…
Chorus2: As Above.
Verse3, PreChorus 3: Harmonica Solo
Chorus 3: Once through as above, then repeats…
Here in my home, you will do things you’ve never done before
Like taxes, by candlelight.

Jon Garrett is a student at Fairhaven College. He says, " I wrote this song for Marie Eaton’s Songwriting Workshop this spring. It starts out on the ever-mysterious min/maj7 chord, which I had always been fascinated by but never used, and I tried to capture a Stevie Wonderish feel with the chord changes throughout the song. This song also features the first key change I’ve ever written into a song, something which Marie had challenged me to do at the beginning of the quarter, as well as my first incorporation of the harmonica into a song (I got it the weekend I wrote this song.) The lyrics are just silly; for a song of this nature I didn’t see the point of being serious, so I chose the other end of the spectrum.
